Terms and Conditions

All cancellations made within 12 to 24 hours notice of the travel taking place will incur a 50% charge.

All cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice of the travel taking place will incur a full payment.

A soiling charge is applicable for any damage due to travel sickness or spillages of any nature. The charge will be determined by the length of time the car is off the road and unable to work.

The drivers have the right to refuse to take any customers acting in an unappropriate manner. Please note we operate a no smoking policy.

If it is stipulated that a payment must be made prior to the journey and that payment is not made, no vehicle will be allocated to that booking.

All prices are calculated from the information given at the time of the quote. If, on the day of the journey, extra pick-ups are added or the journey changes in any way the price may change.

It is the responsibility of the customer to relay information regarding the amount of people that are travelling and the amount of luggage that is been taken (ski's, golf clubs, extra large cases etc) this is to allow the allocation of the appropriate vehicle. Neither Sherwood Private Hire nor Kingsley Chauffeur Services will be held responsible if this information is not relayed prior to the vehicle been allocated.

A charge of 50% must be made when booking wedding cars to secure your vehicle with full payment no less than seven days prior. All deposits are non-returnable. The Company has the right to cancel any booking not complying with the above.

Neither Sherwood Private Hire nor Kingsley Chauffeur Services will be held responsible for a late airport arrival due to heavy traffic, traffic accidents or unforeseen road works. As much as we can give a well-educated guide to the time any journey will take through busy times as well as quiet, some things occur while in transit that are unavoidable.
